WorldWide Electric has a Soft Starter for almost any application, from general purpose to severe duty. Choose from the WorldStart iQ, WorldStart (E) Efficient, Siemens 3RW52, or WWE2-BP chassis soft starters. Each model has a range of features to serve a wide range of industrial applications.
Why use a soft starter? The rise in current caused by starting up an electric motor drops voltage, and can lead to shortages in other electronics. Soft starters temporarily reduce the load and torque during startups and shutdowns to provide a gradual power ramp to prevent shortages.
